Last week’s big buzzy thing was Quiet on Set, a docuseries about the abuse happening on the sets of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows. And, like most nonfiction content of its kind, it’ll quickly fade out of the cultural memory as soon as some new six-part investigation drops.

Nico and Jessa look at the overproduction of nonfiction content, from the Peacock drama based on the Netflix docuseries based on the I Heart Radio podcast series based on the Vanity Fair reportage on Dr Paolo Macchiarini to the inevitable Kate Middleton content.
